It's not as devastating as it sounds. When you say' trash the dress', I can hear all my former ( and future) mothers of the bride gasping in unison. Trash the dress is a harsh terminology for basically an excuse to put on the gorgeous dress you love, without all the pressure of a timeline and keeping it perfectly clean.
